Plunger is a collaboration between director Ben Mills and writer Nathan D'Arcy Roberts.

Ben Mills - Director
Ben is a theatre and film director, whose award-winning short film Wrestling Yetis was called "funny, heart-warming" by Alice Jones in the Independent and screened at the BFI, the House of Commons and the Olympic Park. He graduated from the University of Westminster with a first class BA (Hons) in Film and Television Production, and is the current JMK Assistant Director Bursary recipient at the Salisbury Playhouse. Directing includes Off The Hook by Jonathan Guy Lewis (TimeWave Festival), Baggage by Lydia Thomson (Roundhouse, London) Scatter Like Ash by Nathan D'Arcy Roberts (Camden People's Theatre), Maid Marian (White Horse Germany/France/Japan - schools tour to an audience of 30,000). Rehearsed readings include Disposable by Florence Bell and Piggies by Nathan D'Arcy Roberts.
Ben recently assisted Edward Dick on his production of Gaslight at the Salisbury Playhouse. Other credits include: Associate Director for Love Story: The Musical (Brockley Jack Studio Theatre - nominated 'Best Musical Production', Off West End Awards) and Assistant Director for The Laramie Project (Greenwich Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Trafalgar Studios 2), Deirdre and Me (national tour), The Temperamentals (Dublin Gay Theatre Festival, Courtyard Theatre Hereford, Greenwich Theatre), White Horse Theatre's 2011/12 season (including The Shape of Things), and The Secret Garden and Missing In Action (both national tours for Proteus Theatre).
Nathan D'Arcy Roberts - Writer/Dramaturg
Nathan is a graduate of the University of Westminster, the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, and the DiVA Graduate Scheme. His credits include the short film In The Night, shot on location in Belgrade with support from the Serbian Film Commission. His first collaboration with Ben Mills, a promotional short for the IUOW film competition in LA was awarded the Jury Award. He works freelance for Studio Canal, Universal, Working Title, Big Talk and the BFI, alongside developing a feature film starring Robert Sheehan.
